Southern African-born Dr. Eddy Kafen Dreyer is a highly regarded economist and seasoned trader. Now he has traded higher education and many other fields to spend his time inspiring and teaching others about trading. We spoke with Dr. Eddy Dreyer to find out why when he was trying to better the world around him he turned his attention to trading.

Dreyer founded the African Sports Journalists Association, director of the AGMS International training organization and did many freelance reports and news-gathering assignments in the world’s most important sports markets.

During the interview, Dr. Dreyer describes what it means to him to be a global citizen and how much of this concept extends from Africa to other parts of the world. He gives us a glimpse into his insider’s view of what’s happening in the world.

In addition to our interview with Dr. Dreyer, our Global Markets experts go to great lengths to bring you the most accurate overview of global markets, offer in-depth insights into the world’s economy and examine the nations and organizations which support the global market system.
